Shelly has been a nurse practitioner since 2016 and a founding Nurse Practitioner Consultant to the Legal Profession with Discovery NP Legal Consultants since its establishment in 2021. Her clinical experiences have afforded her a wealth of knowledge in a variety of areas to bring to her role as a Nurse Practitioner Consultant to the Legal Profession (NP-CLP).
These include pulmonary critical care, neurosurgery, neuro ICU, and long-term care, among others. As an RN, Shelly is also highly experienced in ICU care with an emphasis on neurosurgery recovery. Shelly also has a background in public health and clinical informatics education.
Shelly is also actively pursuing a postgraduate certificate in mental health studies and anticipates being awarded her PMHNP in 2024.
In Shelly’s spare time, she likes to spend time with her husband, their two children, and their two cats The family enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and rock collecting.
