SHERRI MCGAULEY

Sherri is a founding Nurse Practitioner Consultant to the Legal Profession with Discovery NP Legal Consultants. Sherri completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1992.

She attended Maryville University in St.

Louis and earned a Masters Degree in Nursing in 2014. She is a Board-Certified Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner. Additionally, Sherri is a Board-Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant by the Competency and Credentialing Institute. She is a member of the North American Spine Society, the Association of Operating Room Nurses and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Sherri is on staff at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital and St. Louis Spine and Orthopedic Surgery Center. At these locations, Sherri specializes in operative and non-operative treatment of the neck and back. She assists surgeons in he surgery, then manages their care in the inpatient post-op period. During this time, she orders treatments, therapies, and any medications necessary. Additionally, she sees patients in the office during post-operative visits.

Sherri is married and is the mother of two biological children, and two step-children ages 18-28. Her hobbies include gardening, reading, and travel. she is a member of Holiday Shores Baptist Church where she has taught children’s Sunday School classes for ten years. She has volunteered for three medical mission trips to Honduras, Guatemala, and Dominican Republic
